PUBLIC NOTICE - ST. JAMES TOWNSHIP BOARD OF REVIEW MARCH MEETING SCHEDULE
The St. James Township Board of Review for 2026 will be held at the Beaver Island Historical Society Museum at the corner of Forest and Main Street on the following dates:
Organizational Meeting:
- Tuesday, March 3, 2026 from 01:30 PM - 03:00 PM
Appeal Hearings:
- Monday, March, 9, 2026 from 03:00 PM - 09:00 PM
- Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM
The Board of Review will meet as many more days as deemed necessary to hear questions, protests, and to equalize the 2026 assessments.
By township board resolution, residents are able to protest by letter, provided the protest letter is received prior to March 9, 2026.
The tentative ratios and the estimated multipliers for each class of real property and personal property for 2026 are as follows:
